L.A. and SoFi Stadium have joined the lead pack when it comes to hosting future Super Bowls, and may push some other cities out of the running, says SBJ football writer Ben Fischer in today’s episode of SBJ Spotlight. Fischer: “Every Super Bowl attracts a certain VIP A-list, but when you’re in L.A., half the A-list lives really close to your events. It got to be almost funny. Every time you’d walk into a party put on by a sports agency … there’s a couple of movie stars in the room. And that’s exactly the sort of scene that everybody wants to create.”
Fischer also says that, as a business event, Super Bowl week was more than 90% back to normal, and that the big winner of the week was Rams Owner Stan Kroenke, and not just because of the result of the game (SBJ).
