SUPER BOWL LXI LEGACY INITIATIVE:
27 COMMUNITY CHAMPIONS
This Super Bowl legacy initiative is designed to turn a major sporting moment into lasting community impact. Rooted in parks, schools, recreation centers, and community organizations, the initiative will expand access to flag football for young people across Los Angeles, with a special focus on girls and communities that have had historically fewer opportunities to participate in organized sport.
A total of 27 grants to be awarded to support programming, coaching, field access, transportation, equipment and community infrastructure.

LA FLAG FOOTBALL SUMMIT
The Los Angeles Super Bowl LXI Host Committee (LASBHC), in partnership with the NFL Foundation, Los Angeles Rams, LA84 Foundation and the Play Equity Fund, convened on October 20, 2026 at BMO Stadium. The one-day event brought together more than 100 attendees from more than 40 organizations across youth sports, education, health and philanthropy to explore how flag football can expand opportunities for young people to be active, healthy and connected across the Los Angeles region and inform a forthcoming Regional Landscape Report that will guide future investments and collaboration in the sport.
